Key Qualifications:

- Experience supporting K–12 students with visual impairments preferred
- Competency in teaching braille and/or assistive technology strongly desired
- Understanding of IEPs and 504 plans, with the ability to provide direct, individualized instruction
- Collaborative mindset—ready to partner with teachers, families, and service providers
- Strong communication and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Provide tailored instruction for up to 18 students, including those with IEPs and 504s
- Deliver specialized braille lessons and support students’ use of adaptive tools
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student goals
- Maintain documentation, participate in relevant meetings, and help monitor progress
- Travel between assigned school sites within the district as needed
- Ensure inclusive environments that foster independence and self-advocacy
This is a full-time, 37.5-hour per week contract for the 2026–2027 school year (August through June).
