1:1 Pediatric 1:1 Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) | Madison, Wisconsin

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required
- Current state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Experience working with students who are visually impaired, preferably in a pediatric or school-based setting
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptive teaching skills
- Willingness to be onsite and work directly with a single student in a 1:1 capacity
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP and vision needs
- Adapt curriculum and materials to ensure accessibility and engagement
- Collaborate with school staff, therapists, families, and other professionals to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment
- Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed
- Advocate for the unique needs of the visually impaired student to facilitate their academic and social success
