This itinerant Teacher of the Visually Impaired opportunity enables you to serve a dynamic caseload, supporting students from grades K-12, including a handful of homebound learners. Qualifications:

  • Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TSVI) licensure required
  • Experience teaching or supporting students with visual impairments preferred
  • Adaptability and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel between assigned campuses

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support for 12-15 visually impaired students (including homebound)
  • Serve approximately six campuses, with caseload and locations varying throughout the school year
  • Adapt and implement educational plans to meet individual student needs
  • Collaborate with general education staff, families, and administrators
  • Maintain compliant documentation and timely progress reporting
