As a TVI in this environment, you’ll be partnering directly with the district to determine your optimal caseload. What we’re seeking:
- Active Georgia Educator Certification for Teachers for the Visually Impaired.
- Prior experience supporting students with visual impairments in a school setting strongly preferred.
- Comfort with keeping timely, accurate daily service records/logs.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and collaborate on placement.
- Onsite candidates only; remote positions are not available for this assignment.
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct instruction and support to visually impaired students.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to adapt materials and advocate for student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Track student progress and document daily services.
