Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid state teaching certification for Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI)

- Ability to adapt lesson plans and materials to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with visual impairments

- Recommend and support the use of assistive technology and accessible educational materials
- Monitor and document student progress, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Offer consultation, training, and resources to school teams to enhance understanding of visual impairment challenges
