Qualifications:
- Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Demonstrated experience in schools working with visually impaired students

- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for multi-site coordination
- Ability to travel within the county to provide itinerant services
- Current clearances as required by state and local regulations
Position Highlights and Responsibilities:
- Work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, during the school year
- Deliver direct instruction, consult with teachers and staff, and monitor student progress
- Adapt curriculum and recommend accommodations for visually impaired learners
- Assess students’ functional vision and learning needs
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and related service providers to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide training on assistive technology and low vision devices as needed
