Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) preferred
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students in schools
- Comfort with assignment collaboration and document modification/accommodation
- Open to VOCO (virtual/remote) service delivery models
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect instruction primarily in reading/writing, with some math support
- Deliver services for students in four block times, Monday through Friday from 12 pm to 2:45 pm
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt assignments and prevent academic regression
- Modify instructional materials to support diverse visual needs
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in classroom environments
