Working over 30 hours per week, you’ll collaborate closely with educators to ensure every aspect of classroom instruction is accessible in a digital format.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert and adapt curriculum materials, including workbooks, homework, classroom notes, and science resources, into digital formats for computer use.
- Provide hands-on support to teachers and staff for uploading, organizing, and maintaining accessible learning materials.
- Collaborate with instructional and support teams to identify the best technological solutions for unique student needs.
- Stay responsive to updates regarding specific supports and resources as more information becomes available.
- Maintain a flexible and innovative mindset to address evolving challenges and recommendations from vision and accessibility professionals.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired or related educational roles.
- Strong proficiency in digital adaptation of learning materials and educational technology.
