What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required.
- Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) with current state certification.
- Experience working one-on-one with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Willingness to commit to an on-site, full-time schedule for the duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction tailored to a visually impaired student’s unique needs.
- Develop and implement lesson plans using appropriate assistive technology and resources.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed to maximize learning.
