Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Nebraska Teaching Certification (or eligibility for reciprocal certification)
- Endorsement or credential as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience working with K-12 students who are visually impaired is preferred
- Strong skills in assistive technology and adaptive techniques
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Availability to start on August 17, 2026 in a 1.4 FTE role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students identified as visually impaired
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service personnel
- Travel between cooperative districts as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress effectively
