Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Previous experience working in school settings with visually impaired or blind students
- Strong understanding of specialized assistive technology and Braille instruction
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Effective communication, adaptability, and collaborative skills
- Reliable transportation for travel between campuses
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students across various schools in the county
- Conduct functional vision assessments and assistive technology evaluations

- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to modify classroom environments
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
