Teacher of Visually Impaired in York, PA

Qualifications:
- Valid and current Pennsylvania teaching certification for Teachers of the Visually Impaired
- Prior experience working in a K–12 educational setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to travel within York County to serve multiple schools
- Ability to develop and implement individualized and group instruction
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to the needs of students with visual impairments
- Assess student abilities and monitor progress
- Collaborate with other educators, related service providers, and families
- Adapt curriculum and materials to ensure accessibility for students
- Advocate for appropriate accommodations and modifications within school settings
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and documentation processes
