1:1 Pediatric 1:1 TVI - Albany, New York

This full-time, on-site role focuses on providing individualized instruction to a pediatric student on a 1:1 basis, ensuring their academic and developmental needs are met with compassion and expertise. Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) is required
- Must hold a valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially in a 1:1 setting, is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to create and adapt educational materials for visually impaired learners
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, individualized instruction and support for a visually impaired student
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure inclusive learning
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that address both academic and adaptive needs
- Evaluate and report regularly on student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with educational requirements
