Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • State certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
  • Experience working 1:1 with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction and support to a student with visual impairments, following Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals

  • Assess student needs and progress, regularly updating documentation and providing recommendations for continued success
  • Utilize assistive technology and adaptive techniques to promote access to curriculum and school activities
