What You’ll Bring:

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education certificate with Special Education Specialist – Visual Impairment (ages 0-21) endorsement (must be active)
  • Master’s degree or higher in special education visual impairment (or equivalent as determined by CO DOE)
  • Experience working with students from early childhood through high school with visual impairments
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Preferred: Orientation & Mobility Certification

Your Impact:

  • Assess vision-related needs and develop tailored IEPs for students aged birth to 21
  • Provide specialized instruction and orientation & mobility services
  • Modify classroom environments and materials to support access for visually impaired learners
