Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) | Nottingham, Maryland

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments in a school-based setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum materials to meet the unique learning needs of each student
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to promote student success
- Utilize Braille and assistive technology, teaching students essential skills for academic and life goals
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and progress reporting
