What You’ll Need:
- Valid Oregon Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification/licensure
- Experience working as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
- Ability to support learners across the K-12 spectrum
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort with providing services in-person or via online platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with visual impairments, tailored to their unique needs and IEP goals
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to ensure accessibility
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and make recommendations for accommodations or resources
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on vision-specific interventions and plans
- Travel across assigned counties as needed for in-person services
