Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Oregon TVI Certification/Licensure is required
- Experience working with K-12 students who are blind or visually impaired
- Strong knowledge of adapted curriculum, accessible instructional strategies, and assistive technology for visually impaired students
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt to multi-site or virtual instruction
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments across diverse educational settings
- Develop, modify, and implement individualized instructional plans and materials
- Assess student needs and collaborate on IEP goals
- Partner with teachers, families, and support staff to promote accessibility and inclusion
