• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments
• Teach core curriculum using accessible formats and specialized techniques (Braille, tactile materials, etc.)
• Assess student abilities and needs, making recommendations for accommodations and assistive devices
• Consult regularly with classroom teachers to promote accessibility and inclusion
