Qualifications:
- Valid TVI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired) license required
- Experience with K–21 year-old students, including direct services, assessments, and IEP writing
- Ability to work across multiple school sites with a caseload of approximately nine students
- Strong communication, evaluation, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional services to students with visual impairments (K–Adult Transition)
- Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed
- Develop, implement, and maintain student IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in school-wide initiatives
- Ensure compliance with school onboarding, including background checks and fingerprinting
