Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required.
- Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
- Prior experience delivering 1:1 instruction to pediatric students preferred.
- Expertise in designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and accessible learning strategies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families.
- Passion for fostering independence and success in visually impaired learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, 1:1 instruction to a visually impaired student based on established IEP goals.
- Modify learning materials and classroom environments to accommodate specific needs.
- Support the student’s academic, social, and personal development within an inclusive school setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (educators, therapists, family) to ensure integrated support.
