Key Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities for working with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students who are visually impaired in a variety of educational settings
- Conduct assessments to determine functional vision and mobility needs
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support educational goals
- Integrate orientation and mobility training, teaching safe and effective travel skills
- Develop accessible materials and utilize assistive technology to facilitate independent learning
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize growth
