- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative support to visually impaired students in K-12 classrooms across the Southern, South Eastern, and Dallastown districts
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to address each student’s unique learning goals
- Partner closely with district staff, special educators, and families to coordinate comprehensive support
- Provide training and resources to school personnel regarding best practices for accessible instruction
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting services as needed for continued growth and success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
