Qualifications & Experience:
- State certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) required
- Previous experience working with visually impaired students, especially those with significant needs, preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in an itinerant setting
- Flexible and adaptable to various school environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to 1 student with significant needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with school staff and families
- Travel to student’s location(s) as needed within the assigned area
- Document student progress and adjust teaching strategies for optimal learning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team
Role Details:
- Part time: 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday schedule
- Duration: August–June
- $37–$43 per hour, based on experience and skill set
- Itinerant travel assignment
