Qualifications:
- Valid certification/license as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
- Experience working with students with significant visual and additional needs preferred
- Ability to travel and provide services across various school sites
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to individualized and adaptive instruction
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative services to 1 student with significant vision needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and related service providers
- Consult with staff and adapt materials and instruction for accessibility
- Document progress and maintain compliance with educational standards
- Manage a Monday-Friday, part-time (20 hours/week) itinerant schedule from August through June
