Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (VI Teacher)

- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meeting participation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to students’ visual and learning needs
- Conduct ongoing, comprehensive assessments using both formal and informal methods to monitor academic achievement
- Prepare for and actively participate in ARD meetings, advocating for appropriate student accommodations and services
- Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related staff to support student inclusion and success
