- Comfortable with completing daily documentation/logs to track services provided
- Willingness to collaborate with school teams and discuss age group preferences prior to final placement
- Commitment to onsite instruction; remote/VOCO candidates will not be considered for this role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments, adapting instructional materials and strategies to meet individualized needs.
- Maintain detailed daily service logs in accordance with district requirements.
- Work in collaboration with special education and general education teams to promote accessible education and student integration.
- Engage with families, advocates, and staff to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
- Participate in pre-planning or post-planning days as needed.
