Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized educational support and direct instruction to visually impaired students across various grade levels (placement tailored after district interview)
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and lesson plans aligned to student goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Complete daily logs and documentation in accordance with district requirements
- Adapt materials and use assistive technology to ensure student accessibility and engagement
This contract role offers a school-year schedule running from August 3rd, 2026 through May 21st, 2027, with possible planning days before and after the student calendar. Full-time hours are expected, with consideration for part-time applicants subject to caseload. The district’s interview process is expected to commence in June or early July, as budget plans are finalized.
