Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction in braille and assistive technology to students with visual impairments
- Collaborate with instructional staff to implement necessary classroom accommodations
- Adapt curriculum and classroom environments for optimal accessibility
- Guide families in braille literacy and learning strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized learning plans
- Provide early intervention support in alignment with student goals
- Maintain accurate records and update assessments in the appropriate systems
- Engage in staff conferences, community outreach, and adaptation of curriculum materials for evolving student needs
- Support various Children’s Programs as needed
