Qualifications & Desired Experience:

- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
- Commitment to maintaining professional credentials and participating in ongoing education
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction in braille, technology, and academic subjects to blind and visually impaired students
- Support co-teachers and instructional staff with implementing accommodations and adapting classroom environments
- Guide and instruct families in braille and related learning strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and update student assessments in database systems
- Contribute to community outreach and provide early intervention aligned with student goals
- Participate actively in staff conferences, professional development, and adaptation of curriculum materials
