Key Qualifications:
- Valid Professional FL TVI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired) License
- Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) Certification
- School-based experience is highly valued but not mandatory
- Flexibility to travel among assigned schools (itinerant role)
- Ability to provide both direct and indirect services to students
Primary Duties:
- Deliver direct and consultative instructional services to 15-20 K-12 students across 13 different school sites
- Create functional schedules in collaboration with the district, with homebase at the district’s main office
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Maintain active communication with staff and families
- Complete all onboarding and credentialing requirements for seamless integration
