Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional FL TVI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired) License
  • Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) Certification
  • School-based experience is highly valued but not mandatory
  • Flexibility to travel among assigned schools (itinerant role)
  • Ability to provide both direct and indirect services to students

Primary Duties:

  • Deliver direct and consultative instructional services to 15-20 K-12 students across 13 different school sites
  • Create functional schedules in collaboration with the district, with homebase at the district’s main office
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Maintain active communication with staff and families
  • Complete all onboarding and credentialing requirements for seamless integration
