Key Qualifications:
- Current TVI educator license required
- Experience working with students who are visually impaired, ideally in a school setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to advocate effectively for students
- Ability to manage a varied districtwide caseload and work independently
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and adapted curricular support to students with visual impairments across multiple campuses
- Assess student abilities and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Consult with educational staff and families to facilitate accessibility and inclusion
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Offer recommendations and training on adaptive devices and technology to support student learning
This position is a contract opportunity expected to run through July 3, 2026, with a 32.5-hour workweek. You'll work on-site as part of a committed educational community, ensuring students receive the tailored instruction and support they deserve.
