TVI - Lowell, MA

Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts VI Teacher License and MA Department of Education License required
- Successful completion of MTELs
- Experience or background teaching students with visual impairments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to creating a supportive and adaptive classroom experience
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to ensure student success
- Adapt materials and curriculum to meet the needs of learners with varying levels of vision
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and make data-driven recommendations
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusion within the school environment
- Participate in relevant meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
