Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Strong understanding of adaptive technologies and Braille instruction
- Experience working with students across a range of ages and abilities

- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to creating inclusive, accessible classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Instruct students in Braille, orientation and mobility, and assistive technology
- Modify curriculum and learning materials to ensure accessibility
- Advocate for student accommodations and accessibility within the classroom setting
- Consult with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure coordinated support
- Track and document student progress, participation, and outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
