Responsibilities span working with a K-12 caseload, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering specialized instruction and resources to visually impaired students to reach their fullest potential. With two full-time openings starting ASAP, you’ll have the opportunity to network with new colleagues, share best practices, and champion student achievement in dynamic settings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
  • Experience or training in K-12 educational settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for student advocacy
  • Ability to design and implement individual educational plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of assistive technology for the visually impaired preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to visually impaired students across all grade levels
  • Develop, implement, and track IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
  • Serve as a resource for faculty regarding best practices in visual impairment education
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
