1:1 Pediatric 1:1 Teacher for the Visually Impaired | Roseville, California

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required
- State Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Previous experience working 1:1 with children, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in modifying curriculum and materials
- Dedicated, patient, and committed to encouraging student independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods for optimal learning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and classroom teachers
- Educate classroom staff on accommodations and adaptive technologies
- Regularly communicate with families regarding student progress and needs
- Maintain detailed records and participate in IEP meetings
