Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time, onsite position in Cupertino, California for the 2026–2027 school year. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct specialized instruction to students with visual impairments.
- Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments as appropriate.
- Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families.
- Support students in accessing curriculum through assistive technology, Braille, large print, and other specialized materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Active California Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) credential/license.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Visual Impairment, or a related field.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
