Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments using specialized techniques
- Adapt curriculum materials and classroom settings to ensure accessibility
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to implement accommodations and modifications
- Assess students’ progress and update individualized education programs (IEPs) regularly
- Provide guidance, support, and training to students, families, and school personnel
- Advocate for students’ needs and help build an inclusive learning environment
- Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in the field
