- Commitment to creating inclusive, adaptive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments across a variety of grade levels
- Assess student needs and tailor lessons using Braille, large print, and assistive technology
- Collaborate closely with general and special education staff, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, up-to-date progress records
- Provide resources, advocacy, and training to teachers and families on best practices and accommodations
