- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community resources
- Ability to assess student needs, adapt curriculum, and design individualized plans for academic and social development
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students, tailoring instruction to their learning styles and abilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students, maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Provide resources, training, and support for classroom teachers and staff regarding adaptations, accessibility, and inclusion best practices
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and allied professionals to foster student independence and achievement
- Support students in transitioning across grade levels and preparing for post-school opportunities
- Participate in professional development to stay current with assistive technology and instructional methodologies
