- Organizational skills for developing and tracking individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adaptability, patience, and a student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ visual and learning needs to create individualized educational programs
- Deliver differentiated instruction using braille, tactile, and large print materials
- Consult with general education teachers to adapt classroom resources and support inclusion
- Provide guidance on the use of adaptive technology and tools
- Track student goals and progress, maintaining thorough documentation
- Engage and collaborate with families to support student growth
- Promote self-advocacy, independence, and life skills
