Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) or eligibility for certification
- Previous experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments preferred
- Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive instructional strategies
- Collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, and comfort working within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative instructional support to students with visual impairments in accordance with IEPs
