Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience delivering instruction to students with visual impairments in a school environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive devices
- Strong communication skills—able to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Organizational abilities with experience managing caseloads and documentation
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct instruction and modifications for students with visual impairments across grade levels
- Assess students' functional vision, learning needs, and progress, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum materials and classroom activities to make them accessible
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on best practices for supporting visually impaired students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster student engagement and inclusion
- Maintain detailed records compliant with educational standards and policies
