Qualifications & Desired Experience:

- Ability to collaborate closely with other educators, staff, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and consultation services to students with visual impairments across various grade levels
- Adapt curriculum materials and activities to ensure accessibility
- Assess students’ strengths, needs, and progress, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and related service providers
- Offer training and guidance to staff members on best practices and use of assistive technology
- Travel within the district as required by the floating caseload
