- Ability to assess students’ visual needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Flexibility to travel between school sites or classrooms as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students who are visually impaired, adapting general curricula and materials
- Conduct functional vision assessments and provide ongoing input for IEPs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to create accessible lesson plans and classroom environments
