We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired for a long-term, full-time contract position working 1:1 with a pediatric student. This on-site opportunity is open to travel professionals and is located near Greenwood, IN.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher is required
- Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Experience in a pediatric or school-based 1:1 setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and staff
- Adaptability and creativity in modifying lessons and classroom strategies
- Ability to commit to an on-site, full-time schedule
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct 1:1 instruction and support tailored to the needs of a visually impaired student
- Modify curriculum materials to accessible formats, utilizing adaptive technology as appropriate
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in ongoing IEP meetings
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and independence
