Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience providing direct instruction to students with visual impairments
- Familiarity with conducting FVE (Functional Vision Evaluation), LMA (Learning Media Assessment), and O&M (Orientation & Mobility) assessments
- Strong consultation skills for working with educators, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instructional hours to students with visual impairments
- Provide indirect services including staff consultation and material preparation
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations (FVE, LMA & O&M)
- Attend ARD meetings as part of student support teams
