Qualifications:
- Valid Educator Certification and National Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired.
- Experience working with K-8 or visually impaired student populations.
- Ability to complete district background check, fingerprinting, and credentialing requirements.
- Flexibility to travel between school sites within clusters.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Serve a K–8 caseload (approximately 12 students; details negotiable by experience).
- Provide specialized instruction and adaptive methods to support visually impaired students.
- Collaborate with general education and special education staff across assigned schools.
- Manage schedules and travel between up to two schools daily (occasionally three).
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
