You’ll be collaborating closely with a supportive school district, working itinerantly across up to 13 campuses, providing essential services to approximately 15–20 K-12 students.

What you'll bring:
- Valid Florida Teaching License as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Current Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) Certification (required)
- Strong background in educational assessments and screenings
- Experience in both direct and consultative student services
- School-based experience preferred, but passionate new candidates considered
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to support a multi-site caseload
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver itinerant services, traveling to 2–3 schools daily as scheduled with your input for optimal commuting
- Design and implement instruction and interventions for visually impaired students, K-12
- Conduct vision screenings, functional vision assessments, and provide orientation and mobility training
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain student records, manage timesheets, and participate in required onboarding procedures
- Coordinate with district staff regarding schedules and consultative services
