This contract opportunity is ideal for travel professionals who thrive in dynamic, multi-campus environments and value flexibility, as you will serve a caseload across a range of K–12 students. With the district offering a hybrid format—direct services on-site several days per week and remote instruction or consultative services on others—you can enjoy variety in your work week and the chance to tailor your schedule.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Professional FL TVI License and current OMS Certification required
- Strong background in student testing and screenings
- Consultative experience and the ability to provide both direct and indirect services
- Comfortable working itinerantly across multiple schools (2–3 per day, with the potential for a custom schedule)
- School-based experience is strongly preferred
- Flexibility to adapt to hybrid models and varying service needs
Your Role Includes:
- Supporting a caseload of 15–20 K–12 students with visual impairments, addressing individual learning needs
- Delivering both direct and consultative services—on-site and virtually
- Conducting student screenings and contributing to assessment processes
- Collaborating with school teams to develop effective educational plans and accommodations
- Traveling between the main district office "home base" and assigned schools
- Participating in onboarding and compliance processes to ensure readiness for the school year
