Key Qualifications:
- Active certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)

- Commitment to ongoing professional development in best practices for vision support services
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in elementary, middle, and high schools
- Develop and implement teaching strategies in alignment with district requirements and student needs
- Conduct both formal and informal assessments to monitor student achievement and adjust instructional methods accordingly
- Prepare documentation and actively participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings to support student progress and compliance
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and serve as an advocate for visually impaired learners
