Key Qualifications:
- Certified as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (VI Teacher)
- Experience or training in adapting curriculum for students with visual impairments

- Organized and attentive to detail, particularly in assessments and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative instructional services to students with visual impairments
- Modify teaching methods and materials as required, ensuring accessibility and compliance with district standards
- Conduct ongoing formal and informal student assessments to monitor progress and guide instructional planning
- Prepare, participate in, and contribute to ARD meetings and other educational planning sessions
- Maintain thorough records of student achievement and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and related service providers to optimize learning outcomes
This full-time role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week from August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027. With a diverse student caseload, you’ll have the chance to make a significant difference in each student’s academic journey.
